Everyone Is Ignorant, Only On Different Subjects

Nowhere does that expose its truth more than on the internet.  I have several online mentors that inspire, motivate and coach me to greatness constantly, even though I’ve been in business longer than one of them has been alive … (well, nearly).   

I wanted to add that little quip to demonstrate that wisdom can come from anywhere.  Personally, I don’t judge the messenger when deciding whether or not the message has merit.  Instead, I decide whether the message works for me.  I ask myself a few key questions:  How do I feel about it?  Does it resonate with me?  Will it work in my life? 

I want to share with you part of an email that I got today from my 25 year old mentor, my mate (in the ozi colloquial kinda way) … Jonathan Budd.  I intended to do a post

So what is it I’m talking about?  I’ve talked about it before… and I’ll talk about it again.  It’s called ‘Attraction Marketing’  And it is the art that will allow you to EFFORTLESSLY manifest your business desires.

In fact, attraction marketing is just down right fun.  I can’t even tell you how fun it is to come home from your massage therapist and find you have new voice mails from interested prospects, made $500 in sales, and generated over 10 new leads while you were getting those kinky knots out of your back.  It’s a tough existence I tell ya…  And the SCIENCE of how to do all of this comes down to one thing and one thing only…

Demonstrating, Conveying, and ‘COMMUNICATING’ Genuine value that will help people move closer to their goals in life.

In other words…you ‘GENUINELY’ have value to offer people… so they are attracted to you to receive more of it.  It’s so simple, yet so few of us actually put this universal law into action.  So few of us actually take the time to DEVELOP skills and abilities that are GENUINELY useful to other people.

I want you to think about this for a moment…

You want to be successful right?  You want people to follow you, join you, and trust you as a leader who can help them achieve their goals right? Well…can you truly give that to them?  Have you developed the INTERNAL and EXTERNAL value to offer people…so they ‘actively’ will choose to join you over 98% of the other people out there?  Hmm, that’s a tough question to ask.  Because the answer might not be an easy one to swallow.

Here’s what I see sometimes…

I see so many of us ’skipping’ crucial steps to success.  I see us wanting the money to be flowing in, but having skipped the DIRE steps needed to attract that money to us.  I’ll use my life as an example.  When I really didn’t have much value to offer people in my business…NOT MUCH was coming in.

I had just gotten into network marketing, I was young, fiery, and thought this line of work would be a piece of cake.  I made almost no money at all for 10 months straight.  I couldn’t get a successful person to join me, or take me serious for the life of me.  And I had no idea why.  MEANWHILE…I hadn’t ‘developed’ the internal and external traits that attract success straight to you.  I was insecure, felt unworthy of my own success, was nervous, afraid of failure…and worst…a part of my own sense of self was dependent on whether or not I was successful in my business.  If someone rejected my business…they rejected ME.  And I got down…

Sound familiar to anyone?

It’s at this point where I could have given up, blamed network marketing, blamed my sponsors or company, or just blamed the world for everyone else being such a sheep who didn’t want to work for themselves.  But that was all crap.  The truth of the matter was…I wasn’t worth joining.  I didn’t have enough value to offer people who were actually successful, so I couldn’t get any successful people to join me.

Fast forward 2 years for me…

I came online in August of 2006.  Last month was a nice $84,000+, with over 600 new distributors joining my business in less than 30 days.  What the hell happened to me you might ask?  One thing and one thing only…I BUILT my value.  I dedicated myself, committed myself, and applied myself to LEARNING the skills and abilities that are INCREDIBLY valuable to have…and all of a sudden people were lining up at the doorstep to learn them too.

Not only that…but I was HONEST and EARNEST with myself.

I didn’t run away from my fears and insecurities, which we all have, I looked at them DEEPER.  I took the time to BE with myself, to learn more about myself, and GROW stronger within myself…so I loved myself more, had more confidence, and now KNOW deeply that I have inherent value to offer people.  And when that switch gets flipped inside you…just watch what starts to happen in your life.  Just watch what will FLOW into your life when you are genuinely giving value out into the world…and giving to people real knowledge that will help them.

So my point of all this today is to get you thinking about the bigger picture.  Stop thinking about, “will I hit my volume requirements this month?”, and start thinking to yourself, “what can I do that will increase the value I have to offer other people?”

That’s the name of the game folks.  If you want people to join you…then you simply need to have more value to offer them.  And by no means should anyone take this information and some how use it as an excuse for why you can’t be successful!

We all come into this world as a pooping, peeing, puking little baby…that has barely enough skills to operate our motor functions.  Yet here we are…surfing the web, living our lives, performing our jobs, taking care of ourselves.  We are LEARNERS.

That is the nature of the human being.  There is no END to how much you can grow.  There is no end to what we can accomplish.  It’s purely awe inspiring and magnificent what each and every one of us is capable of…

That’s my reality.  And that’s why I’m going to make over One Hundred Million before I’m 40.  Just watch. :)
